Privacy Policy
Peanut Brittle Press, LLC · Effective July 18, 2026
This policy covers the Peanut Brittle Press website and our games, including Mama Duck. The short version: our games are made to be played, not to harvest your data. We collect the minimum needed to run the games and, only if you ask for it, to send you updates.
What we collect
Anonymous player identity. When you play, our games create an anonymous player ID (via Google Firebase) so your scores can appear on the leaderboard. This ID is a random identifier — it is not your name, email, or anything that identifies you personally.
Gameplay data. Scores and basic progress (like how many ducklings made it home) are stored against that anonymous ID. Some progress is stored only on your own device.
Email address — only if you give it. If you choose to enter your email (for example, to save a score or hear about new levels), we store it and use it solely to send you Peanut Brittle Press game news. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe. We never sell, rent, or share your email with anyone for their marketing.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand things like how many people play and how far they get, so we can make the games better. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't track you across other websites or apps. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children — our games are family-friendly and playable without providing any personal information at all.
Who processes data for us
Our games run on Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, and database) and use Google Analytics. Data these services process for us is governed by Google's privacy policy in addition to this one.
Your choices
You can play everything without ever entering an email. To unsubscribe, use the link in any email we send. To have your email or leaderboard entry deleted, write to us at hello@peanutbrittlepress.com and we'll take care of it promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
